James Rae

James has an MBA and over six years consulting experience in the retail, consumer goods and government sectors. He joined Curzon from one of the ‘Big 5’ Consultancy practices. Prior to this James founded his own niche consulting business and was part of a management team developing a $25m internet venture. He also spent two years with another leading strategy consultancy where he worked in the retail sector following a couple of years working for a number of well-known retailers.

James has focused on strategy, process re-engineering, change management, customer/revenue management and multi-channel management. He has significant line management experience in retail management. In his spare time, James helps young budding entrepreneurs kick-start their businesses on behalf of the Princes Trust.

James joined Curzon because he “was seeking a dynamic entrepreneurial organisation that could deliver real change and practical solutions as well as influencing senior management thinking”.
