Nitasha Walia

Nitasha has worked as a Communications Strategy Consultant to some of the prominent brands in the UK, started her own clothing business, launched the world’s largest casual handbags brand in India and recently worked in the pricing and market access division of a large pharmaceutical company. This has helped her to develop a well rounded skill set in strategic planning, client servicing, marketing, business development and brand management.

She has an entrepreneurial bent of mind and a creative approach to solving problems. All through her education and career, she has demonstrated an understanding of different cultures, an ability to affect and embrace change, infuse energy and drive, and take initiative. She is intellectually agile and has consistently received academic proficiency awards. Recently she was awarded the Best Student of the Year in her MBA class.

She has an undergraduate degree in Physics and an MBA from the Manchester Business School.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, is an eclectic audiophile and loves shaking a leg from time to time. She is also trying her hand at Spanish and is confident of being able to speak it well soon.
